PCG / DIRECTORY METHODOLOGY

What a vendor match means.

The PCG vendor directory is a starting point for ingredient sourcing and product development—not an approved-supplier list.

Where does the information come from?

Listings are drawn from the supplied 2026 vendor and exhibitor records. Automated classification maps source statements into vendor roles, ingredients, markets, and formats. Directory compilation does not mean every supplier was reverified on that date.

What can I search?

Search by ingredient family, vendor type, listed country, market category, and finished-product format. Natural-language searches can combine these requirements. For example, a U.S. supplier of branded amino acids requires both a suitable business location and evidence linking a branded offering to amino acids.

How are matches ranked?

Country and selected capability filters narrow the records. Relevant name, text, and classification matches determine ordering. More complex requests receive an additional Jev source-evidence check on up to 48 ranked candidates. This is not an exhaustive review of every vendor. Sponsorship or supplier payments are not ranking inputs in this directory.

What do the match labels mean?

Classification matches fit the structured fields. Source-supported matches have passed an automated check against the supplied record; this is not independent verification. Candidates needing confirmation may be relevant but lack sufficient evidence for one or more requirements.

Does a U.S. listing mean made in the U.S.?

No. A business address, subsidiary, headquarters, production site, and market served are different facts. Manufacturing location must be confirmed separately.

Does selling gummies mean manufacturing gummies?

No. Manufacturing collections use source statements about third-party production. Selling a finished brand or supplying a usable ingredient alone is insufficient.

What happens when I contact a vendor?

The request goes to Product Concept Group for development and sourcing assistance, not directly to the listed company. PCG can help qualify partners, compare quotes, and define a brief. Engagement scope and terms are agreed before work begins; no savings or supplier relationship is guaranteed.

What should be confirmed before selecting a partner?

Current specifications, manufacturing site, certifications, quality documentation, minimum orders, availability, lead times, intellectual-property terms, and suitability for the intended market all require project-specific diligence.
