Choose a coherent blend architecture
Decide which ingredients define the concept and which add unnecessary complexity. Botanical powders, extracts and supporting nutrients should have explicit roles in the brief. Compare the desired story with serving size and raw-material specifications before using ingredient count as a point of differentiation.
Prototype the drinking experience
Set the intended water volume, flavor direction, sweetness and acceptable texture. Compare samples using the same preparation method so feedback is actionable. A greens product that looks impressive on paper still needs a repeatable sensory standard and clear mixing instructions.
Source for consistency
Establish botanical identity, supplier documentation and appropriate testing questions for the materials being considered. Define what happens when a supplier changes or a crop varies. Packaging, moisture protection and serving tools belong in the commercialization discussion alongside the blend itself.
A USEFUL STARTING POINT
Bring these three decisions.
- Priority ingredients and exclusions
- Water volume, sweetness and texture targets
- Tub or single-serve launch strategy
PCG can scope concept definition, formulation and prototype work, sourcing, and the manufacturing handoff around your priorities. Deliverables, timing, testing and ownership terms are agreed for the project. Manufacturing is performed by the selected CDMO.

BEFORE WE BEGIN
Greens powder formulation: your questions.
Can PCG develop a greens stick pack?
Yes. The serving weight and powder-handling requirements need to be considered with the filling partner and sachet dimensions. A tub concept should not simply be assumed to fit a stick pack.
Should we add probiotics to greens?
Only after defining their role, strain requirements and stability plan. A combined product creates additional sourcing and finished-product questions; it is not automatically a stronger concept.
Can the brief support TikTok-led launches?
Yes. PCG can work from the target customer, demonstration experience and commercial constraints. Product claims and creator messaging still need to match the evidence for the actual product.
